On or about July 2001 the famous "bird incident" occurred, causing me to need new forks on my Lemans IV
this gem of guzzi engineering need the long head tube forks that at the time were NLA - believe me I had contacted sources in Italy Germany and the Aussies (all pre Euro when the dollar was strong)
No luck finding them anywhere
I stumbled on a Mention of Guzzi Tech Ed's Moto Sushi and this is my version
I went the direction of Fab-ing a steerer out of 4130 and having the Machine shop press fit it into the GSXR yoke
these are my drawings and they are done in SHARPIE-CAD included is the Damaged goods photo of the Guzzi as it was left in the lot after the Bird Incident
