gas spark explosion! working with my hands mentally relaxes me I have played with bikes (pedal and motor) and messed with cars. Luckily I have the best wife who understands my "Mechanical Issues". Now I am restoring a Burley Samba for us to ride as I go thru it

USCRA Spring Moto Giro- rider #46

did I even grown up in Wmass?
this years event was not far from the area I grew up in and I never knew the roads were this good! (google Hancock MA)
nice twistys and elevation changes, Italy eat your heart out
Day one was on a 66 Honda S90 - it'll put hair on your chest at 65mph
before the first stamp check I snapped the rear brake pivot bolt and need to do the next 130+ miles with just the front, smoothness was the rule of the day.
I did keep up with a few bigger (read less than 250cc) in the twists but lost them on the straights and hill climbs
Day two was on my 250 Monza that Pete T from MACH 1 has breathed on
did day 2 on the monza, forgot to wire the exhaust / header nut and had to bang it tight on with a rock applied to the end of my socket wrench, rewired at the time check stop - but toasted my leather riding gloves reaching down on the straight to snug it up while riding
only other problem with the noise maker was that it lost both screw in lever to the petcocks - any one know the size and thread?

Vespa 42Ltr top case install
1) As delivered 1, 2010 Vespa GTS 300 Super Sans rack
2) you need a #2 Phillips and a T30 torx to install the rack
3) remove black bumpers, yes there are holes in the rack
4) slide nut brackets on to the lower clamp
5) tighten down with wavy washers under phillips screw
6) Stick rubber bumper on case (it is a lot smaller than the photo)
7) drill out the 9mm (3/8ths for me) holes and put spacers in (I put a washer on top of that)
8) mount to frame with square nuts then use lock nuts to secure (10mm deep socket)
9) Case installed
10) waiting on my light kit install now
BTW case, bracket and good karma came from the New Mgmt at Vespa boston (does not feel like a used car super store anymore)
