well an odd day to come
got my final door
prep'd the seams, sprayed 3m rust shield (yellow and waxy) cavity spray
went to remove the old doors .... all the philips head hinge screws were stripped!
had to drill them out then had a heartattack when I thought the door plates were welded in crooked - they were loose and floating just stuck with paint

Well the last body part will be here the first week of Aug (the drivers side door)
I went paint shopping with a few colors in mind
Black Tulip (very dark purple) -BLVC23
Damask red - BLVC99
Aconite (purple) - BLVC95
Mirage (mauve) - BLVC11
Local paint house could not mix me cans of Aconite or Mirage, so I test sprayed the Black Tulip and Damask red on my "parts door"
I know poor photos but the black tulip looks to be the winner

on the work note I am busier than a one legged sailor at an ass kicking contest
need to work on the front end while waiting for the other door to show from the UK

when will it get warmer

Well thought I would dig around a bit since it was almost 40 degrees out
cut the rust eaten fender trumpet, a few rusted areas that will be patched and started to clean up the rocker / sill area
low and behold more foam further down the sill!
the previous owner to the previous owner must have had stock in this foam
looks like this side will clean up nice
notice the black primer is still intact on the castle rail .... nice but everything is still going to get coated in SEM Rust shield
need to order one more repair piece from TRF and I will be set to start sticking things back together
REP122 and a set of front wheel tubs
